Our accessible studio flat provides an ideal environment for disabled young people to develop their independent living skills in a real life setting.

Who we help

Young people who have a disability or Learning Difficulty e.g. Autism/ Asperger’s and would like to experience real life training in a supportive environment to increase their self-confidence and independence skills. We can offer group or one to one sessions tailored to individual needs.

Who we are

The Y’s dedicated Transitions Support Team have a broad background in supporting young people and a detailed knowledge of available resources and close links with other agencies. This project is run in partnership with Disabled Childrens’ Services (Leicester City Council).
