Courses for 16 - 24 year olds

How is the course assessed?

Learners are required to collect relevant evidence to demonstrate their skills and to complete practical work, case studies, scenarios and presentations. Assessments are made by the course tutors. Learners will also have the opportunity to evaluate the value of the learning to them at the end of each unit.

"I didnít enjoy school as I was bullied but here I have made loads of new friends and the staff are really friendly. The teaching style suits me better as itís a small group and I learn better. At The Y Iíve enjoyed it a lot and I have become more independent and confident. I am looking in the future to go to college and study sports." - James
